The primary wear parts are the Fixed Jaw Plate, Movable Jaw Plate, and Cheek Plates. We cast these parts using premium High-Manganese Steel alloyed with Chromium (Mn18Cr2 or Mn13Cr2). This chemical composition maximizes the work-hardening property: as the plates encounter extreme pressure from hard rocks, their surface hardness spikes while maintaining high internal impact toughness.

For hard, highly abrasive rocks like granite or basalt, a standard set of high-manganese plates typically lasts between 3 to 5 months under 8-hour daily shifts. To maximize value, our jaw plates feature a completely symmetrical design, allowing you to flip them upside down when the bottom section wears out, doubling their operating lifespan.

The feed opening is exactly 600×900 mm. The maximum allowable feeding size is 500 mm. We strictly advise against feeding materials larger than 500 mm to prevent bridging or clogging in the upper chamber, which drops efficiency and can stall the motor.

The PE600x900 uses a traditional heavy-duty toggle plate as its overload protector. If an uncrushable piece of iron or steel enters the crushing chamber, the toggle plate will intentionally snap. This breaks the kinematic chain immediately, stopping the moving jaw and protecting the expensive eccentric shaft and main frame from damage.

Daily maintenance is simple but critical: checking the tension of the V-belts, inspecting jaw plate bolts for tightness, and lubricating the main eccentric bearings. Our bearing blocks are engineered for easy grease injection, keeping downtime minimal.

The crusher requires a standard 55 kW industrial electric motor. We can configure the motor to match your local voltage and frequency (e.g., 380V/50Hz, 440V/60Hz, etc.).
